I bought this kart this year as a roller, asking price was 3800.00. All
new parts purchased additionally - nearly $2000.00. K&M
Motorsports rebuilt the motor, twice in 2 months ( $974.43 in total ),
and is just for parts now. One could use the carb, exhaust, silencer,
as spares, perhaps some internals as some are new. Ignition was
replaced last year. Kart had 1 race season on it, and competed in
SuperNationals 14. Way cool. Never got to race it myself, but seemed
exceptionally competitive in testing.
Approximately 1.5 hours run time on this setup.
Looking
to get 3000.00 out of it.
Strap on your motor, and run what the top guys are running. If you know
me, you know how I keep my kart, it's really clean and ready to
race with another engine. Pics speak for themselves. Looks like a new
kart. This is one nice ride, don't let anyone tell you different.
Foot note from Jeff:
Buy Rob McGuire's 900.00 dollar kart, for the well working RoK engine,
and I will knock off 200.00 dollars from the 09. That would be a
complete 2009 Road Rebel for 3700.00. Setup like this from other
sellers would be in the neighbourhood of 5200.00 - 5800.00. Plus,
one would have the extra's from the other kart, like rims ( who
couldn't use a spare set of rims for rains? ) spare rad, spare airbox,
and an engine for parts. Won't find that from other sales.
Fantastic deal! Motivated seller! Mount the engine and race
next club event!
