Novice - Briggs
- Ages 8-11 (can be 7 as
long as turns 8 by Sept. 1st of racing year)
- Briggs 4 cycle LO206
Spec
engine, 4100 rpm rev limiter and spec throttle stop as per ASN

- Tires are 4.5x5x10

125cc TAG Junior - ROK/Rotax
- 13 to 16 years of age
inclusive.
Drivers 12 year of age may enter based on
ability (have competed
in at least 1 full season in Jr. 1), but should he or she win they will
not be eligible to represent Canada
in the International ROK Cup unless 13 years of age by Dec 31,
2011.
- 125cc ROK engine, as
per ROK Cup Canada rules, with
junior
tuned pipe or 125cc Rotax Max as per RMC rules.
- No front brakes.
- Minimum weight 310 lbs.
for ROK and 320lbs for Rotax
(kart & driver suited up)
- Max 4 sets of tires for
club races
(regardless if you switch engine type in the race year)
- MG yellow

with a .500 restrictor plate as per
ASN or Briggs 4 cycle LO206 spec motor, 6100 rpm and spec throttle stop
as per ASN.
- Chassis minimum wheel
base 101cm (1010mm)
- "Manufactured" race
slick, 4.5x5x10, rear 6.0x5x11 (Note when travelling to outside clubs,
some have spec tires and others are running open compound)
- Minimum weight 275 lbs.

- For drivers 16
years of age or older.
Drivers 15 years of age with international
license or local license may compete.
- 125cc ROK engine with
full tuned pipe or Rotax 125 Max as specified for each engine
manufacturer. Tech for ROK engine is as per
FIA/CIK ROK rulebook or Rotax 125 Max as specified by each engine
manufacturer.
- Front brakes
allowed.
- Minimum weight is 355
lbs. for ROK and 365lbs. for Rotax (kart & driver suited up)

club races

allowed.
- Minimum weight is 395
lbs. for either ROK or Rotax (kart & driver suited up)
- Max 4 sets of tires for
club races

Notes:
- Only Karting approved chassis
from registered manufactures will be allowed too compete.
- New style plastic rear bumper
or approved replacement
required to practice or compete.
- For club racing only, any
manufactures “production built” rain tire will be allowed
- In order to secure regional
sponsorship of club sanctioned events all tires must be acquired
from our regional
supplier via our local dealer, K&M Motorsports. Tires will be
bar coded to more effectively move through the tech
process on race days.
Recommended but NOT required:
A
chain guard where the guard covers the sides and top of the chain and
must be long enough to
cover the clutch drive gear. Although recommended by ASN it is
currently not a requirement.

Junior 1 Honda

age. Not able to race until achieve age 8
- Overage Drivers: up

age 13 may compete in class if this is their first season of
competition.
